Ok, butter with the fish: this is a girls' café! And it's lovely! Is that a good thing? Whenever I come by here - and unfortunately that is not very often - I feel good straight away. Everything is pleasantly pastel and the seating niches are cozy. Only the terrace is not a feast for the eyes, but that's always my point of criticism in Germany. We just can't do terraces. Point. No matter how many flowers and vintage vases there are. Terraces cost money and German restaurateurs are too stingy to spend money on terrace time for 3 months. Unfortunately, that is the sad truth and also our international reputation. That would be a USP, especially in Ravensburg. Anyway, I still feel very comfortable in Café Glücklich and enjoy chai lattes, teas and sweet temptations. Why only 4 stars? I find it a. but a bit too expensive, b. you could mix chai latten yourself for the price (my last one was delicious, but by David Rio) and c. for the money, service at the table should be included. Would I be here more often otherwise? Certainly. But that is known to be subjective. Keep on being happy! P.S. My photo is from an older visit.
At first I didn't even get the card and then wait 30 minutes to still not be served. Last visit!
Great cafe, delicious breakfast, good quality. Actually I would have given 5 stars, but in times of Corona everyone ... without exception all the waitresses that I could see with the mask "under" the nose. With this kind of inconsiderate behavior in a restaurant, I really can't give 5 stars anymore. And I can't recommend anyone to go to this cafe in Corona times that I would have recommended without hesitation in normal times.
The hot chocolate was not hot at all. That's my experience
It's great that there is a café in Ravensburg, especially for vegans. Nicely furnished, in terms of taste okay. However, I think the prices are too overpriced (e.g. € 8 for a waffle that is barely filling!). Therefore I have to deduct 2 instead of just 1 star from the rating, sorry.
Unfortunately, Café Glück is no longer what it used to be! You wait more than 30 minutes for a coffee at the table even though the shop is not overcrowded. The size of the coffees is not what it used to be, but the price is. Service insufficient! It's a shame, I used to enjoy being here.
We had reserved 1 day in advance, so gluten-free bread rolls weren't a problem either. The breakfast was nicely draped and tasted very good. The scrambled eggs with tomatoes and spring onions were a poem. The staff was very busy, but everyone was friendly and happy to respond to special requests. We recommend.
Unfortunately the service was very, very lame. We waited forever for the drinks and the waffles.
Very nice place, especially outside. Cake super tasty, even if quite expensive. 5 stars if the espresso were a little warmer ...
Cute cafe, breakfast was good. Perhaps I would have made a few points differently in terms of detail and selection, but it is definitely a recommendation. What I can't understand, and I've had it around here several times, is that card payments are not possible. So we went back to other places without ordering and saw how guests moved directly to this cafe. I have to say that the commission for the card payment would definitely be back on the first day of the month, if this were possible.
Very nice place to sit, if you do not want to eat or drink anything. I ordered a vegan waffle and a cappuccino. Both looked amazing, but the coffee was completely burned so undrinkable, and the waffle tasted like bread covered with margarine though with the perfect authentic Goufré de Liège texture. It's rare that I don't finish everything out of my plate but this thing was non-edible. After explaining how awful the food that we got was we were still charged for the full price. The service was very kind and the place looks nice and welcoming.
The place is beautiful but if you are vegan and want to eat or drink something, better avoid. The taste and quality of coffee and food was inedible. When the waitress asked us about it (since we couldn't really eat or drink what was served) we said the truth but they didn't offer anything instead.
Not able to comment on food or coffee quality since we weren't served any after waiting 40 minutes. Didn't even get the chance to order. We left, since the audacity of our presence seemed to bother the staff.
Waited 40 minutes, tried to order three times, waitress rudely tells you to wait, says she'll be with you shortly... Walked out frustrated and hungry. Walked 5 minutes to a competing cafe, got a table and ordered within a few minutes. Looking at other reviews, it seems this experience was not uncommon.
What happened to this beautiful little cafe? The tables are falling apart and everything looks neglected. You hardly understand the operation and you have to wait forever until you are served. I was there for breakfast on Saturday and am totally scared. The flowers were withered. The toilets dirty. Everything seemed loveless and filthy. As I now know, the former bartender from Duala has taken over the cafe. The one with the crochet hat. That explains a lot, of course. Well ... from the bartender to the breakfast cafe was probably not successful. Really!!!!
Really fine here. Sometimes a bit busy, so it makes sense to reserve. But that's not a problem. Cool decor and delicious food. Especially eating vegan is not a problem here; the staff is friendly.
A place to be happy ... Very nice boss.
Great cafe! Friendly staff. Just take a seat and escape everyday life for a moment.
We had to wait a long time. Cake and ice chocolate were good. You sit very nicely outside under the big tree
I was in the café with my wife and children on Saturday, apart from the fact that the order alone took a good half an hour, the service was also rude and cheeky If you are not proficient in the German language, you should at least be able to listen. The breakfast was ok. Nevertheless, it was not a nice atmosphere There are two stars for breakfast Service 0
We were there for breakfast today, unfortunately we were very disappointed for the second time in a row. The only positive thing today was the nice and eager service. After we had to wait about 35 minutes for our breakfast, we got the wrong one first (we wanted without sausage). The bread basket was dirty (looked like egg yolk) and the inside of the basket was not very attractive either. The remnants of the guest's egg yolk still stuck to my spoon. My glass was also not clean. All in all, my appetite has passed. Too bad, because it's really nice there. Perhaps this evaluation encourages you to try a little more.
Good food and coffee but horrible service (very slow and not friendly)
I really liked it in the Café Glücklich. The coffee tasted, not outstanding, but good. I like the ambience. Service was okay, not particularly fast, but within a reasonable framework.
Bad service. Slow and you have to remind them many times so they bring your order. The guy at the bar was so rude. The food was ok. Coffee was ok.
The milk coffee was OK, unfortunately the service was a bit slow, so we had to ask twice if we were allowed to pay
Just super comfortable. It is even possible to have breakfast free of gluten. Priced perfectly fine.
Very delicious cakes and waffles in a nice quiet location. Hot drinks were very good. Nice and fast service
Ok

Spectacular cappuccino, delicious apricot streusel pie, friendly & cozy atmosphere, free strong Wifi
Very nice
Excellent food quality, unreasonably high prices,self-service, ignorant staff, poor service. Forgot to include 3 ingredients from the breakfast menu, which costs 11€. Brought the egg after they were reminded, and the egg cup was half destroyed. Dissappointed.
when e er I go to Ravensburg I enjoy a break there. really nice coffee, cakes and little bites.
Breakfast is very good, service is a bit limited
